I've always been pretty indifferent when it comes to men's clothing, but I was completely blown away when I saw this picture of an Italian man on the Satorialist. Have you ever seen a man MORE put together than this??? I haven't. Perfect mix of color, pattern and detail. (I mean just look at the gloves in the pocket... come on!) and did you notice that his shirt matches his eyes exactly?
The celebrities are at it again. I know some people have issues with celebrities voicing their political views, but I have to say that I LOVE the message they are promoting in this commercial.
I'm proud, that on this historical day when Obama is being sworn into presidency, America is pledging to join together to make a change. "Vote for CHANGE" began with Obama's campaign, but it can be continued by EVERYONE everyday.
I pledge to live a more "green" lifestyle with less waste. What do you pledge?
It's a BIG weekend here in Charm City. Today the Pres man himself, Mr. Obama is speaking before he heads down to DC for the inauguration. The streets are already shut down and I hear they are expecting a big turn out. The only problem is that it's 14 degrees outside, I hope everyone brings layers.
Also, the Baltimore RAVENS have a chance to advance to the Super Bowl (or so I'm told). Everyone at work is dressed head to toe in black and purple (except Laurel and I, apparently we didn't get the MEMO).
Over the past few months I've done A LOT of thinking about what makes me happy in life and what in my life brings unwanted negative energy. I've vowed to make some changes in 2009.
Every year, I make crazy resolutions that 99% of the time are broken by February. So, I've decided to change it up this year. I'm giving myself mini goals, one month at a time. Each month I'm going to push myself to obtain a small goal whether it be physical, social, creative... etc.
So, for January I've decided to go vegan. I've been vegetarian for about 9 years now, and I've decided to push myself for the next four weeks and give up my two weaknesses: cheese and chocolate.
Who knows if I'll decide to make the full lifestyle change, but at least I can see the difference it will make for a month. Wish me luck!
At least I have an excuse to spend money on this book now:
*thanks annie for encouraging this change (and challenge)*
