Koons ruffles feathers at Versailles

Jeff Koons seems to be ruffling a few feathers across the ocean in France.  This month debuts his work at the Versailles Palace.  His large shiny pop art sculptures are causing a raucous among a few French conservatives who say Koons work is insulting towards the iconic French art found at Versailles.

I always enjoy a few feathers in the air.

*Side note- Last year, Koons' "Hanging Heart" sold for $23.4 million dollars, which the most for any living artist*
